The Engine · Pulse

Every month held against its goal, with time left to act.

Pulse is where we track your performance over time: qualified leads and the health of every channel, measured against the goals we set together.

What we do with it

Every month has a lead goal, set in Forecast from your revenue target. Pulse is where we hold reality against that goal. Qualified leads are counted by channel and by month, pacing shows whether you are ahead or behind while the month is still live, and the answer to how are we doing is a sourced number, not a feeling in a meeting.

The problem this kills

Inflated lead counts are the industry’s favorite trick: count every ring, every form bot, every existing customer calling back, and the report looks great while your schedule stays empty.

We count a lead the way you count a job, qualified leads only, and we check the count against the goal in real time. A channel that falls behind gets caught in the middle of the month, when there is still time to act, not in next quarter’s report.

How it works

Three moves, every account, every week.

01
We count
Qualified leads only. Spam, robocalls, wrong numbers, and repeat callers get filtered out before anything is counted.
02
We pace
Each month’s count runs against its goal in real time, so ahead or behind is visible while there is still time to act.
03
We act
A channel that slips gets a reason attached and gets worked, in the same month, not the next quarter. You see the reasoning in your weekly report.

What Counts as a Lead
Read the guide

What counts as a qualified lead?

An answered call from a number we have not seen this period where a real conversation happens, or a valid form submission with legitimate contact information. Spam and wrong numbers never count.

Can I see where each lead came from?

Yes. Every lead carries its source, so the count on your report breaks down by channel and you can see which ones are producing and which ones are slipping.

Where do the goals come from?

From Forecast. Your revenue target becomes monthly lead goals shaped by your season, and Pulse measures the real count against them.

Does the lead count do anything besides report?

Yes. The qualified, booked and closed outcomes flow back into Google Ads as offline conversions, so Google bids toward the searches that become jobs. A count you can reconcile is also the count that trains your ads.
